Hotel Features. The 1987 Hotel Alexandra features French windows and balconies across its facade. A marble spiral staircase leads from the green marble- walled lobby to the mezzanine restaurant and bar. Guests can relax with complimentary international newspapers on sofas in the lobby.

L'Altell Restaurant offers buffet breakfasts, and a seasonal menu of Mediterranean cuisine for lunch and dinner. Drinks and snacks are served all day at the quiet Lounge Bar on the mezzanine level.

 Distance to Hotel Alexandra is 13 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive. 

Getting there.  There is a train station a short walk away from the airport terminals. The RENFE train runs between the airport and Barcelona's centre every half an hour. The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. There is an Aerobus service operating to Placa de Catalunya every 12 minutes, costing 6.50 EUR for a return ticket. There are taxi ranks in front of the terminal buildings, and the fare to the city centre is approximately 25 EUR. Prices are all subject to change. 

Getting around.  The Hotel Alexandra is located two blocks from Gaudi's La Pedrera (Casa Mila) and one kilometre from Las Ramblas. The integrated metro and bus system in Barcelona is a cheap, efficient way to explore the city. The nearest metro stations to the hotel are Diagonal and Passeig de Gracia. Validate tickets in machines prior to boarding. A valet parking service is available at the hotel (surcharge).
